Eurdine Clara Ringwelski (Ernie) “Bumbles”

Ringwelski PhotoEurdine C. Ringwelski, age 89, was called home by her Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Heartland HealthCare Center – Hampton. She was born April 13, 1928, in Iron Mountain, MI, to the late Charles and Eurdine (Myer) Ray. Eurdine was a graduate of St. James High School (1946) and the Northeastern School of Commerce. Eurdine married the love of her life, Norbert Ringwelski, on October 14, 1950, in Bay City. He predeceased her June 7, 1985. She worked many years as the researcher/bookkeeper at the Bay County Historical Museum. Eurdine was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish – St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and its Senior Citizens group and Felician Sisters’ Auxillary. She was the former treasurer of the Essexville Heritage House and a member of the Bay City Central Booster Club. Eurdine truly enjoyed taking trips up north and exploring different light houses. She liked to share her wisdom, talking about the history of Bay City; but her true love was spending her time with her family. Surviving are her daughters Alice (Nelson) Young and Marilyn (Roy) Walkowiak. She also leaves her beloved granddaughters: Amy (William) Graham; Jill Walkowiak (Mitchell Taylor) and their daughter Scarlett Taylor; and Dr. Katie (Nick) Ryan. Also surviving is a brother Charles Ray, two nieces, a nephew, and many dear friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish – St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Fr. Rick Filary will officiate with private burial in St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may call at the church only on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of mass.

    Alice & Marilyn
Sorry to hear about moms passing and extend my sympathy to you. I remember how my parents and I enjoyed working with the adopted pets. May she be with you in spirit and memories.

  • Tom & Cindy Reinbold

We met Ernie when Tom had cancer surgery at Bay Med, and talked with her almost every weekend at church. She was truly a wonderful lady.

My condolences to Marilyn and Alice and families on the death of dear “Ernie”. We will miss her at Heritage House. She was a wealth of information. Thankfully her time of illness is over and she is with all the Saints of Heaven.
