Nancy M. DuVal (Wlodarczak)

duvall-photo815Nancy DuVal age 69 passed away suddenly Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at her home.  She was born February 28, 1946 in Bay City to the late Frank and Marie (Bala) Wlodarczak.  Nancy was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish – St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting ceramics, playing cards, working on her origami and was an avid reader.  Surviving are three sisters and five brothers; Madeline (Norman) Rezler, Michael (Mary) Wlodarczak, James (Carol) Wlodarczak, Patrick (Janet) Wlodarczak, Ronald (Nancy) Wlodarczak, Rita Wilson, Judi Wlodarczak, Larry (Kim) Wlodarczak and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister, Sr. Kathleen Wlodarczak C.S.S.F. and two brothers; Kennie and Frankie.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish – St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.  Fr. Rick Filary will officiate with burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 -8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday after 9:00 a.m.  Members of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish – St. Stanislaus Kostka Church will pray the rosary for Nancy at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday followed by a parish vigil service at 7:00 p.m.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Nancy DuVal Trust #1.  www.ambrosefuneralchapel.com

Earl R. Lagden

lagden-photo814Earl Lagden died Saturday, May 23, 2015 at his home at the age of 90.  He was born August 31, 1924 in Bay City to the late Raymond and Josephine (Rumanski) Lagden.  He married the former Eugenia (Pawlicki) Buczek and she predeceased him March 17, 1986.  Surviving is his step-daughter in-law, Barbara Buczek, two grandchildren; Kimberly (Brian) Essenmacher, Sheri Turek – Lanning and her husband Tom, seven great – grandchildren; Kyle, Kevin, Tyler Essenmacher, Alexis, Olivia, Zachary Turek and Ava Lanning.  He was predeceased by a step-son, Richard Buczek.  Funeral Service will take place Friday, May 29, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ambrose Funeral Home.  Sue Roznowski will conduct the service with burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donor’s favorite charity. www.ambrosefuneralchapel.com

Frank R. Erndt

erndt-photo183Frank Erndt was called home by his Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family age 89.  He was born March 8, 1926 in Munger to the late Frank and Marion (McAlindon) Erndt.  Frank married the former Maxine P. Joles June 11, 1949 and she survives him.  He served his country in the U.S. Army and worked for Bay City Milling for 37 years before his retirement.  After his retirement he was a school crossing guard for many years.  Frank was a faithful member of All Saints Parish – St. James Church where he was very active in many parish activities including being a Eucharistic Minister, belonging to the Rosary Society and serving as an Altar Server for funerals.  He was an avid hunter, enjoyed gardening and had a passion in his early years playing fast pitch softball.  Frank truly loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Surviving besides his wife Maxine he leaves five children; Frank (Helen), Ronald (Cindy), John, Dan, Harold (Vicki) Erndt, thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are three sisters and a brother; Mabel Szelegowski, Sr. Ann Frances, Rose (Bob) Stevenson and Dick (Marcia) Erndt.  He was predeceased by a brother, Ed Erndt.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from All Saints Parish – St. James Church.  Fr. Jose Cabrera will officiate with entombment in St. Patrick Mausoleum.  Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 – 8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday after 9:30 a.m.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider McLaren Bay Hospice.

Marjorie H. Stasinski

    stasinski-photo182 Marjorie passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 at Heartland-Hampton, age 82.  She was born January 8, 1933 in Bay City to the late Frank and Helen (Smielawski) Wachowiak.  She married Edward Stasinski on June 1, 1957 and he predeceased her on August 15, 1987.  Marjorie was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Stanislaus Church and enjoyed trips up-north, NASCAR, playing the accordion and hosting the holidays at her home.

Surviving are four children: Mary (Rocky) Hernedez, Robert ‘Bert” (Cheryl) Stasinski, Carol (John II) Runberg and Esther (Carl) Phillips, eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one brother in-law, Bro. Gregory Stasinski, many nieces and nephews.  Marjorie was predeceased by a son, John Stasinski, one brother, Richard (Donna) Wachowiak and a sister, Nancy Aaron.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Stanislaus Church.  Fr. Jerzy Dobosz will celebrate Mass and interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church only on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of Mass.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to “Family Wishes.”

Robert C. Willey

Willey-photo180Bob passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region age 53 years.  He was born July 20, 1961 in Bay City.  Bob served our country in the U.S. Marine Corp. and retired as a welder.  He enjoyed fishing and taking bike rides.  Surviving are two children; Stefanie (Aguilar) Knoerr and her husband Ross, Brandon Willey, mother and step-father, Edie and Al Ousterhout, three sisters and a brother.  He was predeceased by his father Robert B. Elva M. Tackman

     Elva passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at Bay Special Care after a lengthy illness, age 84.  She was born February 24, 1931 in Basin, Wyoming to the late Anthony and Claudia (Torres) Vigil.  Elva married Willard Tackman and he predeceased her on January 14, 1996.  She owned and operated Tackman’s Produce Market with her husband for over forty years and was a former member of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish-St. John’s Church.  Elva was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

Surviving are three children: Wayne Tackman, Joy Tanner and Jill Milostan, eight grandchildren: Mark Tackman, Denise (Jason) Webster, Wesley, Kristi, Cody (Nicki), Matthew, Patrick and Andrew Milostan, two great grandchildren, Caiden and Allie Webster, five siblings: Lou Tackman, Ruth White, Clara Sewell, Ted and David Vigil.  Elva was predeceased by five brothers: Anthony Jr., John, Matthew, Paul and baby Joseph Patrick Vigil.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 at 4:00 pm at the Ambrose Funeral Home.  Fr. Dale Orlik will officiate and private inurnment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery at a later date.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to “Family Wishes.”
