Maria passed away December 19, 2014 at Medi-Lodge of Yale, age 91. Private services were held and interment was in Floral Gardens Cemetery.

Bay City, Michigan
Joanne passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region, age 57. The daughter of Elizabeth (Maus) Reetz and the late Donald W. Reetz, she was born March 19, 1957 in Bay City and lived here all her life. Prior to her illness she was employed by Bergers Restaurant.
Surviving besides her mother, Elizabeth are five sisters and two brothers: Helen (Terry), William (Penny), Robert (Nigora), Karen, Diane, Amy (Tom) and Donna, several nieces and nephews. Joanne was predeceased by her father, Donald, her grandparents, one brother in-law and a sister in-law.
Private services will be held at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to a charity of their choice.
Patrick W. Quinn age 54 years passed away Wednesday December 24, 2014 at the McLaren Bay Region surrounded by his family. He was born September 2, 1960 in Burlington, Iowa to Jan Quinn and Jewel (Hancock) Vogelgesang. Pat married the former Alilyn Valliere and she survives him.
Surviving are two daughters; Nicole Tarves, Ashlynn Quinn, one sister and three brothers; Vicky (Richard) Garcia, Steve Quinn, Michael (Kimberly) Quinn, Thomas (Irene) Quinn, twenty seven nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Pat was predeceased by his mother and father, Jewel and Richard Vogelgesang.
A Memorial Service will take place Wednesday December 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from First Baptist Church (8445 Webster Rd.Freeland, MI. 48623 – 989-695-6414). Pastor Ben Cutshall will officiate. Friends may call at the church only on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the First Baptist Church in Freeland.
Mildred O’Riley passed away Tuesday December 23, 2014 at the Genesys Convalescent Center age 87 years. She was born October 27, 1927 in Dallas, Texas to the late Jessie and Bessie (Lay) Bryant. Mildred married Marcell M. O’Riley November 10, 1945. He predeceased her July of 1987. Mildred was a former Lunch Room Superintended and enjoyed volunteering for the local fire and police department in Texas. She truly enjoyed working on her ceramics.
Surviving is one daughter, Sandra (Pastor Loyd) Ayres, seven grandchildren; Jacob Ayres, Hannah Pedersen, Sarah, Jason, Jessie, Nickie O’Riley, Mickey O’Riley III., eleven great-grandchildren and one brother, Corkey Bryant. She was predeceased by three sons and two grandsons.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services planned at this time.
Bay City, Michigan
Mr. Kendall, age 68 passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 unexpectedly at his home. He was born October 28, 1946 in Tawas City to the late John and Rhea (Ulman) Kendall. Charles was a Vietnam veteran from 1965-1969 and earned several medals while serving our country. He was a retired tool and die maker.
Charles is survived by his faithful dog, Buddy and special friend, Tracie. Also surviving are five children: Michele (Jim) Lesniak, Michael Kendall, Lisa (Jesse) Kendall, Angela Kendall and William (Tonya) Kendall, nine grandchildren: Corey Lesniak, Cheyenne Tolliver, Cassandra Elder, Aubree Elder, Brittany MacDonald, Blake Shoultes, Lenneh Shoultes, Emmalene Shoultes and Reann Kendall, five sisters and brother: Gary (Sue) Kendall, Linda Warford, Sherry (Ed) LaBerge, Susan Kendall and Lori (Ed) Shillair, special nieces and nephews: Kris (Benny) Perez, Shane (Heather) Gontko and Ryan King. His special buddies: Nathen, Kyle, Cameron and Noah Gontko, an aunt, Inez Kendall, several other nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Charles was predeceased by his parents, John and Rhea, a grandson, Logan Tolliver and two brother in-laws, Richard (Warfie) Warford and Gary Schmitz.
Cremation has taken place. Private inurnment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at a later date.
Tony passed away Saturday December 20, 2014 at the Professional Care Assisted Living age 49 years. He was born December 4, 1965 in Pittsburg, PA. to the late Burl and Nellie (Russell) Bowers. Tony had worked for Magic Carpet and was the former owner of Vincent Resale Shop. Later on in life Tony became a very talented Chef and was always giving food to the needy. He enjoyed fishing and will always be remembered as a generous person with a big heart helping out others when he could.
Surviving are three children; Jessica & Aron Bowers, Jennifer & Jayson Bowers, Tony Russell Bowers, three grandchildren; Cale, Libertie & Silyss and his granddog, Ruger. Also surviving are three sisters; Mable (Dennis) Crosby, Debbie Davis and Phillis (Roger) White. He was predeceased by one sister and two brothers; Martha Davis, Johnny Bowers and Burl Bowers.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of Tony’s life scheduled in Sandusky at a later date.
