I just found out about Peyton’s death from a former student. I will miss Peyton’s sense of humor, his smile and his hunting stories in my US history class. My thoughts go out to his whole family.

Uncle Rocky, Aunt Karen, Josh, and Amber,

Words cannot express my sorrow. I couldn’t imagine the pain you’re all forced to endure. I don’t know what to say because I know that there is nothing I can say to ease the pain.

I am also so sorry that I never had the chance to fully meet my cousin, Peyton. I only have myself to blame for that. It sounds to me like he was a really awesome person with a giant imagination, who was loved by all who crossed his path. I bet you guys will be able to carry on his legacy by gifting everyone with the stories he loved to tell to people so much.

My heart aches for you all. I am so so sorry for your loss.

Psalm 34:18 – The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

    Love you guys.
