Bay City, Michigan

     James passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 at his home, age 53.  He was born September 27, 1958 in Flint, Michigan.  He was employed with the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Bay City for over 30 years.  He was a member of the National Guard and enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.  James loved to spend time with his family, especially his children and grandsons.

     Surviving is his wife, Debra Wilson, four children: Jerimie (Bobby) Thompson, Jessica (Tony) Jackson, Erica, Emily Thompson and their mother, Susan Thompson, three grandsons: Austin, Vincent and Mason, his mother, Patricia (James) Locker, one brother, Dennis Thompson, and two sisters, Janice Keller and Cindy Bartram.  James was predeceased by his father, James V. Thompson, Sr. and one sister, Carol Eckler.

     A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 12:00 noon at the Squires Funeral Home.  Nancy Rivet will officiate.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00am until the time of service.

Theodore M. Wisniewski of Bay City passed away peacefully on Saturday morning November 26, 2011 at the age of 99.  Our special “unc” and brother was born November 13, 1912 in Bay City to the late Joseph F. & Anna (Pletzke) Wisniewski.  Ted retired from Consumers Power and served in WWII as a Staff Sergeant with the U.S. Army.  Ted was a life- long member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and the Men’s Choir where he became a member of the Young Men’s Choir in November 12, 1934.  Ted enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, feeding the birds, taking drives up north and spending time with his family especially at Christmas.

 Surviving is a sister; Anselma “Sally” Nadobny, several nieces and nephews;Betty (Gene) Tacey, Gloria (Garey) MacDonald, Susie Paradise, Dennis (Sue) Walkowiak, MaryJo (Greg) Surma, Alfred (Sherry) Nadobny, Ann Mockaitis, Michelle (Steve) Leverenz, Michael Wisniewski, Cathy (John) Phillips, Barb (Tom) Wolter, Rosanne (Mark) Richard, Steve Swiercz, Larry (Cindy) Swiercz and a special friend; John Mockaitis.  Ted was predeceased by three brothers; Aloysius “Al” (Nettie) Wisniewski, Sylvester Wisniewski, Nicholas Wisniewski, six sisters; Elizabeth “Lizzie” (Albert) Proulx, Helen Wisniewski, Bernice Wisniewski, Matilda “Tillie” (Rufus) Walkowiak, Clara (Eugene) Wisniewski, Loretta “Lorrie” (Daniel) Swiercz.

 Ted’s family would like to thank Dr. Ali and the staff at Bay Special Care for their thoughtfulness and compassionate care.

 Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday November 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.  Rev. Fr. Rick Filary will officiate with burial in St. Patrick Cemetery under the auspices of the Bay County Veteran’s Council.   Friends may call at the church only on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of mass.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Stanislaus Kostka Church Christmas Decoration Fund.

Bay City, Michigan

     June passed away Friday, November 25, 2011 at home with her family by her side, age 80.  She was born August 29, 1931 in Bay City.  June married Norbert I. Morin in Bay City on October 31, 1950; he survives her.  She was employed with K-Mart on Euclid for over nine years and was a member of the Salvation Army.  June had a large beautiful heart, which she often used to help others and her family.  She enjoyed playing bingo and a good cup of coffee.  Her family was her life; she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

     Surviving beside her husband, Norbert is four children: Rosemarie (Jeff) Grappin, Norbert David (Cheryl) Morin, Linda Morin and Joann (Robert) Weiss, ten grandchildren: Capt. Anthony Banaszak, Shane (Michelle) Escamilla, Lisa (Brian) Becker, William Morin, Crystal Morin, Jessica (Charles) Smithers, Heather Thompson, Brandy (John) Manns, Matthew Weiss and Danielle Weiss, 24 great grandchildren, one sister, Vina Wisniewski, one brother in-law, Ernest (Jackie) Morin and three sister in-laws: Regina Philips, Denelda Joseph and Joyce Morin.  June was predeceased by her mother, Lillian Huntley.

     The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 11:00am at Ambrose Funeral Home.  Major Mike and Shirley Myers will officiate and graveside interment will follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00 to 8:00pm and Tuesday after 10:00am.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Salvation Army or McLaren Visiting Nurse and Hospice.

     The Morin family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Bay Special Care-West Bay and Hospice Advantage nurses for their kind and compassionate care they extended June and her entire family.

Standish, Michigan

Mrs. Blanchard passed away peacefully Thursday, November 24, 2011 at her home with her loving family at her side.  Age 87 years.  Beatrice was born to the late Joseph and Ethel (Denman) Rabadue on August 23, 1924 in Gladwin County.  She married John Blanchard on October 14, 1939.   They were married 60 years before Johns passing on February 29, 2000.  She was employed for many years as a seamstress for Sempliner’s of Bay City.

Mrs. Blanchard leaves behind four sons, John, Mitchell (Louise), Stewart and Earl Blanchard, and her daughter Daisy (Martin) Sanders, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She also has one surviving sister, Jessie Monroe and a brother in-law, Harley Shook.  Along with her parents and husband, Beatrice was predeceased by her daughter “Bea” Beatrice Shook and her son Harold Blanchard.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held at a later date.

The Blanchard family would like to extend a special thanks to American Home Health Hospice, especially Kristin and Melody.

Mrs. Neal passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Bay Regional Medical Center age 58 years.  Daughter of the late Earl & Dorothy Lee she was born April 29, 1953 in Bay City.  She married William E. Neal February 28, 1981 and he survives her.  Helen enjoyed her family and taking care of them.

 Surviving besides her husband William she leaves two sons; Earl W. Neal, Vincent E. (Rebecca) Neal, three step-children; Billy (Tracey) Neal, Tammy (Paul) Jackson, Christina Neal, two grandchildren; Logan & Kelsey Neal and numerous step-grandchildren.

 There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  The family is planning a Memorial Service at a later date.

Joann Tacey passed away Tuesday morning November 22, 2011 at Brian’s House surrounded by her family age 72 years.  Daughter of the late John & Eleanore (Pietryga) Gradowski she was born November 3, 1939 in Bay City.  She married LeRoy Tacey January 16, 1960 in St. John’s Church of Essexville.  He survives her.  Joanne worked many years at the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant in Bay City before retiring.  Joanne along with her husband are owners of Bay Shore Bar & Grill of Quanicassee.  Mrs. Tacey enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to the casinos, shopping and visiting with all of her friends.

 Surviving besides her husband LeRoy, she leaves three children; Angela (Scott) Jacoby, Joe (Janelle) Tacey, LeAnna (Ken) Meyers, seven grandchildren; Shaun, Shannan, Shantel, Courtney, Zachary, Kaylee and Ashlynn.  Also surviving are six brothers; Richard (Ann), Ronald & Paul Gradowski, Mike (Mary Jo), Joe (Karen), Jim (Paulette) Jamrog, three sister’s in-law; Kathy Jamrog, Judy Tacey, Arlene (Ed) Maguire, two brother’s in-law; Melvin (Sally) Tacey and Mike Gillman.  She was predeceased by two sisters and a brother; Betty Gillman, Geraldine Bedell, Robert Jamrog, one brother in-law; Earl Tacey, her mother in-law and father in-law; Adrian & Helen Tacey and Joanne’s step-father; John Jamrog.

 The family would like to thank the staff at Brian’s House for the wonderful care that was given to Joanne.

 Funeral Service will take place Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from the Ambrose Funeral Home.  Nancy Rivet will officiate with burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Friday from 2 – 8 p.m. and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Brian’s House.
