Mrs. Rajewski passed away Thursday November 25, 2010 at the Bay Regional Medical Center age 79 years.  Daughter of the late Alfred & Gertrude (King) Bond she was born September 7, 1931 in Bay City.  She married Richard A. Rajewski.  He predeceased her June 23, 2001.

 Surviving are two daughters; Sandra K. (David) Heinrich, Sue (Mike) Lutz.

 A memorial service will take place Tuesday November 30, 2010 at 12 noon from New Jerusalem Christian Church.  Pastor Tom Clark will officiate.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Bay City, Michigan

 Mr. Martinez passed away Saturday November 27, 2010 at the Bay Regional Medical Center age 72 years.  Son of the late Hipolito & Eloise (Andrade) Martinez he was born January 26, 1938 in San Marcos, Texas.  Paul worked for the Michigan Laborer’s Union of Michigan before retiring.

 Surviving are eleven children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters and a very special friend; Polly.  He was predeceased by a son.

 A memorial service will take place Thursday December 2, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. from the Squires Funeral Home.  Paul’s brother Robert Martinez will officiate with private inurnment in St. Patrick Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Squires Funeral Home on Thursday after 1:00 p.m.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider family wishes.

Bay City, Michigan

     Henry passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Brian’s House with his family by his side, age 91.  He was born July 23, 1919 in Bay City to the late Leo and Frances (Piotrowski) Balwinski, Sr.  Henry was a WWII veteran and served his country with the US Army.  He retired from NewCor in 1981 after 39 years of dedicated service.  Henry was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, life member of St. Stanislaus AC and St. George Society.  Henry never owned a car and enjoyed riding his bicycle wherever he needed to go.  He also enjoyed fishing down by the river with his buddies.

     Surviving is a brother, Clarence (Romaine) Balwinski, one brother in-law, Daniel Timm, one sister in-law, Eugenia Balwinski and several nieces and nephews.  Henry was predeceased by two sisters: Cecilia (John) Linda and Rita Timm, three brothers: Leo Balwinski, Edwin (Sara) Balwinski and Alfred (Irene) Balwinski.

     The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, November 29, 2010 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church at 10:00am.  Fr. Christian Tabares will celebrate Mass and private interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church only on Monday from 9:00am until the time of Mass.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to a charity of donor’s choice.

Mr. Woods passed away Tuesday November 23, 2010 at Brian’s House age 79 years.  Son of the late Earl Sr. & Marie (Besaw) Woods he was born September 30, 1931 in Bay City.  He married the former Kathleen M. Duso April 28, 1956.  She survives him.  Earl served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.  He worked for CSX Central Michigan Railroad for 25 years before retiring.  Earl was a member of St. Joseph Church.

 Surviving besides his wife Kathleen he leaves three children; Michelle Biniecki, Jennifer Bradford-Grzybowski and her husband Richard, William (Anita) Woods, thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are two brothers and a sister; Bernard (Mary Lou) Woods, Mary Jean McInerney, Michael (Helen) Woods, one son in-law; William Hilbrandt and a sister in-law; Noreen Woods.  He was predeceased by a daughter; Roberta Hilbrandt and a brother; Jerry Woods.

 Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday November 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph Church.  Rev. Fr. Dale Orlik will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Squires Funeral Home on Friday from 2 – 8 p.m.  There will be a parish vigil service for Earl at 6:00 p.m. Friday.  In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Brian’s House.

Mr. Hages died Saturday morning November 20, 2010 at Brian’s House age 82 years.  Son of the late Chauncey & Annette (Johnson) Hages he was born October 23, 1928 in Essexville.  He married the former Jacqueline Tokai November 17, 1951 in St. Joseph Church.  Don is survived by his wife Jackie.   Don was in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and served aboard the U.S.S. Coral Sea.  Don worked at Consumer Powers for over 32 years before retiring.  He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.   Don will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and papa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Don also loved to travel and loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Surviving besides his wife Jackie, he leaves six children; Susan (Brad) Champagne, James (Nannette) Hages, Daniel (Jody) Hages, Katherine (Mark) Hoffmann, Donna (N. Robert) Reiling, Jennifer (Dennis) Draves, fourteen grandchildren; Craig, Kevin, Kelly, Brandon, Weston, Jamison, Nicki, Danny, Taelor, Jami, Theresa, Bridgette, Zoe, Jordan and six great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are two sisters; Helen (Joe) Vanderlooven and Ann Peterson.  He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters; Wallace & Chauncey Jr. Hages, Lorraine LaChance and Lucille Doriean.

 The family would like to thank the staff at Brian’s House for the wonderful care that was given to Don and his family.

Lynn passed away Thursday November 18, 2010 at her home age 51 years.  Lynn Piechowiak was born February 7, 1959 in Bay City.

 Surviving are three children; Brandon Wiesen, Stephon Drzewicki, Danielle Drzewicki and a step-son; Seth Drzewicki.  Also surviving is Lynn’s mother and step father; Carlene & Donald Priestley, three brothers; Thomas (Maryann) Piechowiak, Timothy (Mary) Piechowiak, Kevin (Sue) Piechowiak and a sister in-law; Debra Piechowiak.  She was predeceased by her father; Stanley Piechowiak and a brother; Mark Piechowiak.
